These Audi A3 TDI performance exhaust is made in 2.5"/63.5mm pipework and fits from the catalytic converter section backwards (Cat Back) these exhausts replace the centre and rear sections.

All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied.

COBRA SPORT REVIEW

The new Cobra Sport performance exhausts for the Audi A3 TDI are manufactured in Sheffield using 2.5” (63.5mm) mandrel bent stainless steel pipework. The system has been created in a similar design to our ‘Venom’ exhaust range which removes the rear silencer but keeps the central resonated section to remove the resonation sound produced by the engine to keep cabin unwanted noise to a minimum.

This system, designed for the single exit 3 door A3 2.0 TDI engines produces a slightly deeper than standard tone on idle and when under load the exhaust tone becomes more pronounced with a surge in urgency. At idle the system recorded a level of 66.7dB which then increased to 82.3dB on the static 3,000rpm sound test. Interior sound is kept to a comfortable level averaging 74.1dB on the test circuit maxing out at 77.4dB under full acceleration.

Available in a choice of tailpipe options including statement 4” (101.6mm) highly polished T304 stainless steel finish along with the new Cobra Sport Blackout Ceramic black ceramic coated design.
