This Astra VXR performance exhaust is made in3"/76.2mm pipework and fits from the turbo backwards (Turbo back system) these exhausts replace the front pipe, standard catalyst, centre and rear sections.

This high flow sports cat version will enable you to pass a UK MOT emissions test or police road side checks.

This non-resonated sports exhaust makes the system louder as it excludes the centre silencer and therefore, has a sportier exhaust note. This exhaust is also available as a resonated version (including centre silencer) which is a quieter option.

All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied. (Except turbo gasket).

Compared with the standard factory-fit exhaust, Cobra Sport delivers stunning performance gains. With the Cat-Back System on its own the power increases from 264 bhp to 280.5 bhp. Upon testing the turbo back system with sports cat and non-resonated centre section and stage 2 re-map, produced an eye watering 43 bhp advantage and 42 ftlb increase.

Weight is a serious consideration in development of the performance exhaust, with the Cobra Sport De-cat back system weighing in at just 24.14 kg, this is a substantial 21% decrease when compared to the OE system’s 30.58 kg. Great sound comes as standard with Cobra Sport. The unbelievable resonated sound quality is pitch perfect, behind the wheel or on the start line. Yet under load, part throttle or idle the volume is only marginally higher than a standard exhaust.
