These Girodisc 2 piece discs are a direct replacement for the OE disc. No modifications are necessary. The disc will bolt directly to the Toyota Yaris GR and Corolla GR and work with OE calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight high performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. The Girodisc rear rotors are approx. 10.4lbs. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response.

The rotor rings are machined from a proprietary casting made of high-carbon iron formulated to GiroDisc’s specifications. This superior metallurgy results in a rotor that lasts longer, and the 48 curved vanes act as a centrifugal pump pulling air in through the hub to effectively cool the rotors under hard use. The 2-piece design means a reusable hat which can be attached to new rings (part number D2-268) when they need to be replaced. 

Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed.
