GKTECH Z33 350Z/V35 FRONT COMPRESSION ROD SPHERICAL BEARING UPGRADE (PAIR)

The GKTECH 350z/V35 Skyline front compression rod bearing replacements are designed to replace the factory OEM rubber bush. We have chosen to use a common (COM16T) spherical bearing which is PTFE lined and self lubricating for increased longevity and to increase the misalignment we have produced high misalignment spacers to ensure the required misalignment is reached. For installation, simply press out the OEM bush and press the replacement unit in it's place.

Will this fit my car?

We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under "vehicle compatibility". If your car is not listed there, then we don't know if it will fit.

Is there anything else needed for installation?

There is not. Simply remove the OEM bush and press this complete unit in its place.

What is the purpose of the spherical bearing if there is also a polyutehane insert?

The factory rubber bushing takes significant load and wears often. A spherical bearing is able to take much higher loads but as there are pivot points with no restriction on either side of the compression arm the arm is able to move freely and can cause a clunking noise. To eleviate this we have added the polyurethane inserts to our design to restrict misalignment whilst still having the smoothe movement of a spherical bearing.

Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?

Yes, provided you have general mechanical knowledge installation is relitively straightforward. Installation time should be around 30 minutes. However, being a suspension component we recommend only a trained professional to install this product
