GKTECH S/R CHASSIS REAR KNUCKLE REINFORCEMENT WELD IN KIT

The GKTECH S/R chassis rear knuckle reinforcement plates have been designed to brace the OEM rear knuckles where it needs it.

If you've been drifting these cars for a while now, you would have seen the OEM cast knuckles break off on the balljoint mount and the toe arm mount, usually happening in spectacular fashion. We've made reinforcement easier than ever with our laser cut, pre-folded, ready to weld in plates.

This is considered a must-do modification, as the OEM parts get older (more abused) and the difficulty of finding a replacement increases (and more expensive), we find it important to refresh and improve on OEM parts. Available separately for those who don't feel the need to reinforce all points.

Will this fit my car?

We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under "vehicle compatibility". If your car is not listed there, then we don't know if it will fit.

Do you make these to suit other cars?

We only sell the parts listed on our website. If it's not listed on our website, then we don't sell it, sorry.

What's the advantage of using the GKTech weld in reinforcement plates?

Although not as common as broken rear subframes, the OEM cast knuckles can break off on the balljoint and toe arm mount.

What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?

No modifications are required, simply just remove OEM rear knuckles and weld the plates in.

Is there anything else needed for installation?

You will need a welder. In terms of the plates, they will arrive as shown in the product photo.

Can I install this myself?

If so how long will installation take? Yes, provided you have welding experience. Welding in of the kit should take around 15 minutes + removal/refit time
