The Speed3 Power Steering reservoir maintains OEM mounting positions and hose locations. Unlike universal kits, there is no headache of fabricating custom brackets or cutting hoses, simply use the same OEM bushing and lower mounting location.

Anti-Aeration:

Like OEM, the CorkSport Mazdaspeed Aluminium Power Steering Reservoir uses internal drop tubes for the inlet and outlet tubes to reduce the chance of aeration in the fluid. Aeration of the fluid needs to be avoided as it can cause intermittent loss of power steering and cause damage to the internal components of the power steering system.

Materials and Manufacturing:

Much like our Coolant Reservoirs, each Power Steering tank is laser cut from 11-gauge aluminium, then TIG welded for the best appearance and strength. The tank is then powder-coated wrinkle-black for the cleanest finish in your engine bay. Once the tanks are assembled and fully welded, we pressure test every tank to ensure your new reservoir is free of leaks!
