Corksport 2014-2018 Mazda 3 80mm Non-Resonated Exhaust

Have you just picked up a Turbo Kit for your 2014-2018 Mazda 3 and want to ensure you get the most power out of your setup without sacrificing additional drone? Well, that was the driving factor during the development of this Non-Resonated 80mm Cat Back Exhaust so that it can be used in tandem with the Turbo Kit. Compared to the 80mm Cat Back Exhaust currently offered for the 2014-2018 Mazda 3, the Turbo Kit setup removes the resonators located in the Axle Back. During testing, we found that doing this greatly reduced the amount of drone heard in the cabin, while still providing an aggressive tone. If you currently have the 80mm Cat Back Exhaust then you can simply order the ABE by itself to enjoy the benefits of the tuned Turbo Kit specific combo. While optimized for the Turbo Kit, you can run this on a Naturally Aspirated setup. Just note that the exhaust volume will be very aggressive.

Performance Sound:

During testing we found that using the original 80mm exhaust made for NA Mazda 3’s produced more drone inside the cabin than what would be comfortable for most people. This led to the testing of multiple different combos of midpipes and axle backs with various resonator configurations. After testing was completed we chose to stick with the same midpipe setup, but updated the axle back to not have any resonators. This new combo builds upon the already fantastic sound that the original 80mm exhaust featured by adding an even more aggressive tone in the higher RPM range while maintaining lower drone levels than the original setup. Appearance Boost:

The Turbo Kit specific 80mm CBE retains the aggressive looks from the original setup featuring the same 100mm or ~4” exhaust tips. The exhaust tips found on the hatchback are slant cut with a dual wall construction to fill up the bumper cutouts and match the bumper profile. The sedan on the other hand features single wall tips so that no debris or water can get caught in the backside of the tips since they are angled downwards because there are no exhaust cutouts present in the bumper. Whichever setup you end up sporting will add a much-needed and appreciated look that will boost the aggressiveness of the rear of your car.

High Quality Materials & Manufacturing:

Each exhaust starts out with T-304 stainless steel piping that is then TIG welded and finally polished to a mirror like finish. This ensures that corrosion will not be an issue and the exhaust will last for many years to come. Each of the flanges on the exhaust are laser cut out of 9mm or ~3/8” thick material to help prevent any warping from occurring. Also included is all the necessary hardware including gaskets and step-by-step install instructions to make installation straightforward.
