ARP's L19 head stud material has a higher tensile strength than the stock Ford and Mazda head studs and the ARP 2000 head studs currently available. Compared to the 220,000psi clamp load of the ARP 2000, the L19 will allow 260,000psi clamping load. The L19 head studs will higher strength under the higher inertia load of a high performance engine. The L19 is ideal for those looking to achieve much larger than stock power and torque levels.
