The GKTECH Grip S-chassis front drop knuckles have been developed with the learnings from our previous 2 versions of knuckles (of which over 400 sets have been sold) and we now present a light weight, sheet metal design after hundreds of hours of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to improve the strength of the product but also keep the weight down. With OEM ackerman and steering arm length these are perfect for grip racers that aren't interested in an increase in steering angle that drifters require but with the benefit of an improvement in both roll center and bump steer correction.

- Ball joint height is lowered 50mm's for roll center and the steering mount lowered 64mm's for bump steer correction
- Lightweight (S13 version is 3.1kg and S14/S15 is 3.15kg)
- S13 and S14/S15 specific versions
- Provision for ABS sensor

Vehicle Compatibility:
- Nissan 180sx
- Nissan S13 Silvia
- Nissan S14 Silvia/200sx
- Nissan S15 Silvia/200sx
- Nissan Cefiro A31

NOTE: Due to the 64mm of bump steer correction some tie rods may interfere with the inside of your rim. This is entirely dependant on both the inside diameter of the rim and the length/type of tie rod that you are running however as a general rule a 17" rim or larger will be required.

They are best suited with our Super Lock LCA's, which when purchased in conjunction with these knuckles you receive 15% discount on both products.

Simply add both items to the cart and they will be discounted automatically!

FAQ'S
Will this fit my car?
We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under "vehicle compatibility". If your car is not listed there, then we don't know if it will fit.

Do you make these to suit other cars?
We only sell the parts listed on our website. If it's not listed on our website, then we don't sell it. Sorry.

However, we do sell R-chassis knuckles which can be seen here: https://au.gktech.com/r-chassis-r32-r33-r34-front-super-lock-knuckles

What's the advantage of using the GKTech grip front drop knuckles?
A lot of people think that the best thing about knuckles (aka uprights) is getting more steering angle to drift however the main advantage of installing knuckles is the roll center correction and bump steer correction. Extremely lowered vehicles typically handle poorly, with drop knuckles like these installed the handling will improve dramatically as your lower control arm and castor (aka tension) rods are sitting near horizontally which brings them back to where they were before the car was lowered, which is exactly what you want.

What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
No modifications are required, simply just remove and refit. You will also need to re-adjust your coilover height due to the drop incorporated into the knuckle.

Is there anything else needed for installation?
No, you will need to use your OEM wheel bearing. Rose jointed LCA's, tie rod ends and caster rods are certainly advantageous but they are not 100% required. These knuckles will work with your OEM LCA's and caster rods.

As for the knuckles themselves they will arrive as shown in the product photo

Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, provided you have general mechanical knowledge as they are relatively straightforward. Installation time should be around 30 minutes. However, being a suspension component we recommend only a trained professional to install this product.

Do these lower the cars height?
Yes, you will simply need to re-adjust the height of your coilover and it will counteract the height difference.

Will I have to get a wheel alignment after installing these?
Yes, as the ride height and toe have been altered, we strongly recommend a wheel alignment after any suspension changes.

How do these differ to the drift orientated knuckles?
The grip knuckles are designed specifically for people NOT looking for an increase in steering lock, rather someone looking for both roll center and bump steer correction.
