PERRIN PERFORMANCE TGV HOUSING

The PERRIN Tumble Generator Valve (TGV) Housing removes restrictive components from the intake tract to allow for higher volume of airflow for more power and increased throttle response in your race tuned WRX!

WHY YOU WANT IT

The OEM tumble generator valve (TGV) is designed to speed up air flowing to the engine during low-rpm and low load situations. This creates better throttle response and torque at low RPMs. During full throttle, these valves open to allow for more airflow, but they still create a restriction in the intake tract. On vehicles modified strictly for off-road racing, these become a hindrance to performance. You can see how the butterfly portion and the rod that operates them is very large compared to the intake port. The PERRIN TGV Housing is a simple bolt-on part to replace the OEM TGVs on your FA DIT WRX with a smooth inner wall to completely remove airflow obstructions.(These are not compatible for on-road / street applications and require ECU tuning to perform properly in off-road use. )

HOW IT WORKS

The PERRIN TGV Housing is a simple bolt-on part that results in noticeable performance increases in both horsepower and torque. With no special tools or additional hardware, the PERRIN TGV Housing replaces the OEM part and that's all there is to it! With its smooth interior walls and anodized finish, you'll get nothing but clean airflow to your engine.

This part is designed for off-highway use and an ECU recalibration is REQUIRED after installation.

FUEL LINE CLEARANCE

The PERRIN TGV Housing comes with a notch machined into the outside of the body in order to allow for proper fuel line clearance, unlike some competitors' products. This small detail is crucial to ensure a perfect fit.

CONSTRUCTION & FINISH

The PERRIN TGV Housing is made from CNC milled aluminum and anodized black for a perfect fit and corrosion resistance to last the lifetime of your WRX!
