BC Coilovers for for Toyota Starlet GT Turbo / Glanza EP82/EP91 90-99

The Toyota Starlet GT Turbo / Glanza EP82/EP91 has two different coilover kits available including the most popular BR Series & the RM Series, see the difference below or contact a member of the team to help you out.

All coilover kits are supplied with standard spring rates which are stated on the BC-Racing UK website. If you want custom spring rates please contact us! Please note this will incur a charge of £40.00 Inc VAT in addition to the kit price & will take 2-3 weeks to order in from BC HQ.

BR SERIES COILOVER

The BR series coilovers use a large 46mm diameter piston in a 53mm diameter damper body to maximise oil capacity. As the damper unit opearates the oil contained within heats up. The viscosity of oil changes as its temperature varies which can lead to changes in the damping characteristics of the unit.

BR – TYPE RA

The RA series coilover kits are supplied with aluminium front top mounts with pillowball centres (camber adjustable if macpherson) and aluminium rear top mounts with rubber centres or no top mounts

This is the kit we recommend for the best balance of performance and comfort, designed by the factory to have the best overall compromise of spring rate, ride height range, top mount design and damping rate to suit the majority of car owners.

It is more than capable of dealing with fast road and track work but also retains a high degree ride civility so the car can still be used for mundane duties and long journeys without the ride becoming tiring.

RM – TYPE MA SERIES COILOVER

The BC Racing RM series feature high quality damping adjustable monotube inverted dampers at the front or front and rear, depending on vehicle. The RM coilovers offer the majority of the features of the BR series but with the additional benefit of the inverted damper unit. Inverting the damper unit brings with it a number of advantages.
