This VW Golf R performance exhaust is made in 3"/76.2mm pipework and fits from the catalytic converter section backwards (Cat-back) these exhausts replace the centre and rear sections.

This resonated sports exhaust includes the centre silencer and has a subtle but sporty tone. This exhaust however, is also available as a non-resonated version (excluding the centre silencer) which is a louder option.

All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied.

Cobra Sport have gained a fantastic reputation in the Japanese, Ford and Vauxhall exhaust markets over the years and they hope to capitalise on this success by launching a more comprehensive selection of VAG products over the coming months to complement and expand their market reach. Therefore, they have now added the VW Golf R MK6 to their range.

The system benefits from all of the usual Cobra Sport refinements with mandrel bent, TIG welded, grade 304 stainless steel used throughout the systems as standard. You can therefore be assured of only the best quality in a Cobra Sport system. Matt Thomas, Sales Manager at Cobra Sport says “The Golf R MK6 system has provided us with some exciting results, independent testing has revealed that the 3” Turbo back upgrade with a re-map produces over a 20% increase in BHP. A substantial weight saving can also be achieved with the 3” turbo back system providing a whopping 50% decrease in weight from the Original Equipment version. The Cobra Sport system really improves the drivability of this car and takes it to the next level”. The styling of the system is finished off with either a refined twin 4” slash-cut tailpipe or for something a little different there is the option of a matte black finish on the same tailpipes.
