This Ibiza 1.2 FR performance exhaust is made in 2.5" / 63.5mm pipework and fits from the front pipe / catalyst backwards (Cat-back) these exhausts replace the first silencer, centre and rear sections.

This resonated sports exhaust includes the centre silencer and has a subtle but sporty tone. This exhaust is also available as a non-resonated version (excluding the centre silencer) which is a louder option.

All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied.

Enhancing the driving experience via a combination of power, weight, styling and acoustic tone is always top priority on the agenda when engineering any exhaust system at Cobra Sport and the system which has been developed here certainly ticks all of the boxes. Cobra Sport’s experienced engineers were able to design an exhaust upgrade which balanced the need for improved gas flow without sacrificing back pressure. The results speak for themselves and certainly boost the car’s credentials.

The new Cobra Sport exhausts for the 1.2 Ibiza FR benefit from all of the usual Cobra Sport refinements with mandrel bent, TIG welded, grade 304 stainless steel used throughout the systems as standard. You can therefore be assured of only the best quality in a Cobra Sport system. Matt Thomas, Sales Manager at Cobra Sport says “We are very excited to have developed the new cat back exhausts for the 1.2 litre engine building on the success experienced with the 1.4 FR model. The new Cobra Sport systems greatly improve the exhaust pitch and tone and add the sporty edge which was missing from the factory system. The non resonated cat back system offers the most dynamic upgrade recording a sound level of 84.8dB in the 4,000 rpm static test and is the exhaust configuration which perfectly achieves the sound we were looking for with this model. The resonated cat back exhaust upgrade includes a centre resonated section designed to reduce the sound levels and provide a purposeful but unobtrusive pitch perfect sound quality which in no way interferes with day-to-day drivability of the car”.

The styling of the system is finished off with a choice of twin 3” tailpipes in a highly polished inverted or inward rolled T304 stainless steel finish. A third option for a 5" x 3" oval slash cut tailpipe is also available for those looking for something a little different to compliment the Seat Ibiza aesthetics.
